The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, or, RCIA, is the process of becoming a member of the Catholic Church.
It is through this process that we introduce Christianity: the moral life, a life of prayer, our beliefs and teachings. Through these sessions, your own personal prayer, and your faith journey at home and in the community, you are in the process of discerning whether you want to be a member of the Church. If you elect to do so and are ready, you will enter into the Catholic Church at our Easter Vigil Mass, the night before Easter.
The typical RCIA program begins in September, meets weekly on the day that best suits the scheduling needs of the group, and weekly sessions end with the Easter Vigil.
After Easter Vigil, the group meets occasionally to continue to grow in faith and knowledge and continue the journey toward heaven

"There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be."
Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
